Brought to life by New York City-based interior design and branding firm Dutch East Design, the reimagined salon maintains the art deco history of the existing building with a minimalist color palette and touches of reimagined rugged NYC street art.

All in the details…

Custom designed pedicure stations, inspired by luxurious first-class airline seats are made from warm wood panels and create a backdrop in the main space. Bespoke, roving, manicure and pedicure carts, designed for both in-house and private, residential services fill the space. Upon entry, guests’ eyes will be drawn upward to a ceiling mural by visual artist Veronica Gallinger, which covers the entire ceiling.

Offering a modern edge reflective of Mutha Pearl’s ethos, the striking black and white hand painted linework is inspired by the maze of exposed pipes, left intentionally, incorporated by the design team.

Shivangi is amazing.

I’ve walked by this cute salon a few times and decided to walk in for a lunchtime pedi.

Love this place.

Walked in and booked a slot for a gel manicure later that same day. The space is cute, clean, and relaxing. Will be back!

Shivangi has been my go-to hair colorist for years, and I’ve always been thrilled with her work.

We’re all muthas. You belong here.
